Statement on TEE and Keller ISD Relationship

Recently, numerous false allegations have been made regarding Texans for Excellence in Education (TEE) and our relationship with Keller ISD. We want to set the record straight.

Keller ISD became a member of TEE in September 2024 through an executed membership agreement signed by former Superintendent Tracy Johnson. All board members were aware of the agreement.

To date, TEE has provided only one service to Keller ISD also signed by former Superintendent Johnson in September 2024: a financial cash flow analysis contract focused on budget deficit projections and related factors.

Keller ISD has not procured any other services from TEE. TEE has not contributed to any work related to the proposed district division.

Texans for Excellence in Education (TEE) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring all children in Texas receive a high-quality education focused on the core competencies of math, science, reading, and writing.
